What bolt up mods are there for the 6thgen Maxima's

Hello everyone.I have a 04 6thgen max 6spd manual transmission and i'm trying to do the best I can on the tracks.I only have a CAI and i'm doing 15.5 on the 1/4 mile. How can I improve this time?I'm adding the 3" catback with the 14816 magnaflow muffler,5pc spacer kit,BOP,light weight crank pulley, stage 1 clutch and possibly a y-pipe with a high flow catback. Is there anything else left to add on?

A lightened flywheel, you are already got the clutch coming. It would be a good idea to install one with the tranny drop for the clutch install.

Any suggestions?Like there's a few out there so if i'm getting one i'd want to get a good one because if I go in the tranny it will be to do everything right the 1st time.

I'm just going for all the bolt on's right now.

It was my 2nd time on the track man and I haven't mastered how to launch yet.I use to think that you just flaw it at the green but it turns out it's not.I'm improving on the launch, and unfortunately that's the best time I got.

Altima SE-R headers off ebay. IIRC you will have to shave some of the starter for them to fit, If I could find the post that mentioned it, I would link it here. But I think thats your only option besides Cattman.

So it's not a direct fit? I'll have to do some customizing?

I am very interested in headers as well. I hear you have to extend the O2 sensor and I have heard about shaving the starter, but do not know what that means.....

That is correct. I think krazy6 may know what modifications are required to install those Altima headers on a 6MT 6th gen.

I'm not sure about the o2 sensors, maybe someone well versed in 6th gens and headers can chime in with that information.
Shaving the starter means to remove some of the material from the starter so that the headers and starter do not hit each other.

So you slap parts on your car but you don't know why or what they do? Don't know why 3 piece is better then 5 piece or vise verse ?wtf.... First thing is first on your way to a faster maxima. Im sure you'll have some childish responses but Im not concerned, this is an intervention and I expect negative attitude from you. Good luck buddy, we care.

1) Need to admit you have a problem and admit yourself to Autozone Bull**** anonymous.
2) Learn what parts that you install do and not just be a copy cat.
3) Adding Lambo wings on your 4 door car will not make it faster.
4) Remove the rediculous rear bumper.
5) Remove Autozone Fake Fender Vents and cheesy chrome accents.
6) Dont get heavy wheels and concentrate on the power plant rather then visual part if you want a faster maxima.
7) Lose some weight and kick your girl to the curb, if she asks why, tell her is for weight reduction.
8) Dont have the same paint scheme as many before you have done, only makes you a copycat.
