Driver side mirror broke

Hi guys,

Long story short, parked my car in the mall and when I came back the driver side mirror is dangling on the side of the car.

Had no idea how it happened, and I was stupid enough to forget to fold the mirrors. Now that I have learned my lesson, hope this would never happen to anyone. It just sucks to be driving around in such a beautiful car with a mirror held on by duct tape.

Judging from the damage, but I am no expert, it seems I can fix it with replacing only the triangle plastic part that attaches to the car. What do you guys think ?

Does anyone know a place that sells only the triangle part ? or the part number ? looked everywhere, but couldn't find any.

Thanks in advance, oh and dont forget to fold your mirrors

EDIT: will post pics later today

You can always get the parts number from the dealership or check here:

http://courtesyparts.com/

They have a number you could reach them at to ask questions.

The dealership won't sell the mirror in parts. The mirror at the dealers is about $300-350 primed, then you have to paint it which is around $50-75. Your other option will be to buy it from ebay and swap out the triangle from the aftermarket and install it on the OEM.

It's very easy, you just need to cut the wires and colour match it and join them back. The aftermarket doesn't have the folding option and the folding is what you want. The dealership that I bought my car from sold me a mirror that was epoxied to the car. Let's just say I visited his dealership after hrs
