Vibration Issue

Finally got my motor mounts replaced 3 of them thinking that the vibration would stop...Mechanic has checked all four mounts and says they are all fine...I still get a vibtration from the motor though when the engine is idle...Any idea what it could be?

Idling only? When pulling from stop too? No clunk noise? Which one you didn't change?

There is no sound or funny noises that the car is making...I didnt change the back mount since my mechanic took them all off and rechecked everyone of them to make sure they were not cracked or broken even the new ones. Hey thought it was the plugs, which I changed 2 weeks ago and it wasnt that. My car never did this until the mounts were broken and now at idle it will vibrate every once in a while...I'm selling the car so I dont want a buyer to be , why does it feel like the engine vibrates? I would have issue with that myself

Can you hear or feel some kind of clunk or bump when you change from Park to Drive and vice versa?

Have someone accelerate the car while braking and look if there is abnormal backward (toward the firewall) movement of the engine.

Both are symptoms of bad front or rear mounts.
I never leave behind an enemy alive. That rear mount you didn't change is going to byte you.

Little relevance this has, but i had vibration issues while idling on my 01. When i replaced the Y pipe, the vibration was gone.

It could be a slight misfire.. Try to power brake a little and see if the mounts have play. If they hold secure then most likely it's an idle issue not your motor mounts

My mechanic had the car for over 6 hours took the mounts off rechecked to see if they were fine, they passed inspection. , My borken mounts looked like crap so he would know if the rear mount was cracked. He thought it was because the spark plugs needed to be changed, did that and still have it. It feels like a bad motor mount feel....he couldnt figure it out and its driving me crazy, wondering if I got a bad mount, when I replaced it

get an engine stabilizer bar. You can search for it. Some guys here have them installed.

Since you have a 6MT do you ever get any off throttle vibrations going down the road?

My car does that too, started about 6mo ago, replaced a bad motor mount, which had been replaced not that long ago. My tech thought it might be the ECU not controlling the motor mount properly. We have an electronic motor mount that varies (hard or soft) when we accelerate. He thought it might have been out of sync. Replaced mount, instead of ECU. It fixed it a little bit, but still vibrates at idle sometimes. Just sitting at a light, I can feel it through the steering wheel.
