i would really try and getting something no smaller than 18"

the maxima already has a pretty hefty gap between tire and fender and getting smaller rims might look a bid odd. you can see this a little in my sig (which is an old pic). i have since lowered my car on progress, and put 25 and 30mm spacers which makes the rims flush to the fender. i had a hard time making my rears fit and needed to do some tab cutting and fender rolling to make it work.

but to answer your question? yeah, if its smaller than your stock rims why wouldn't it fit? you really only gotta worry about tires and rims fitting if your getting bigger rims, lowering your ride, or messing with crazy offsets. but what you have there is pretty normal.

Well i know the stock wheels are 17 and was wondering since the tires are 45 instead of 55 like the originals. Would there be a big gap between the tire and the fender in the front? I am not lowered
