Help:Front Mount

So today i went and picked up my valve body From Level 10 and Pat [the owner] Was telling me how i should unplug my front electronic motor mount Because it throws the computer off and also frys the ecu and also said it was told by nissan to unconnect it. So i just want some opinion on what he said if its true or false Thanks guyss

Why would Nissan sell the motor mount unit with the electronic piece? Its supposed to firm the mount at higher speeds

Those motor mounts have the nasy habit of shorting out and frying the sta509a driver chips in the ECU. If the mount is in good working order, you rev the engine over 1K rpm to get the motor mount in stiff mode and disconnect the plug. If it has shorted out, replace it with a manual trans mount.
