tranny fluid for 4-speed auto

I have an 04 SL with the 4-speed auto. I have been told to use matic D and matic J fluid by 2 different Nissan Techs. What one should I use?

use what is recommended in the owners manual.

you can try redline atf as many have had good results with it.

Don't let Nissan scare you into buying their Kmatic, which is fine, but if you want to improve your shifting, and overall driveability, switch to Amsoil tranny fluid. The product number is the ATL. You will not be disappointed.
