PLEASE ADVISE in transmission fluid color porblem

I was having transmission problem with my maxima 04 hard shifting issue and in the beginning of December I went to Valve Body Builders and they fix my issue and the car run great and last month i had overheating problem and i replace the radiator
I went to change my oil in active green the tech told my transmission fluid color is dark and I need to do transmission flush so I don’t what to do cause as I know sometimes the flush will damage you transmission if the color is dark and if the overheating problem cause this or that because the transmission start to fail so any advise in this issue

Kaz, I just changed out my tranny fluid w/ Amsoil ATL. I was getting a pretty hard shift from 2nd to 3rd, and the Amsoil smoothed it out remarkably. My '04 has 45k miles on it and this was it's first tranny fluid change.

did the tranny fluid smell burnt?

also if the first place that did the work in December changed your tranny fluid, see what kind of fluid was put in. most ATF is red, but there are some brown ATF out there
