2007 motor in 2004 maxima

Good day everyone
What do I have to do to install engine from 2007 maxima in 2004 ?

Is there any deferences between them ?
Because my old engine is dead . I got a new one from a totald 2007 with low milage.

5AT vs the CVT. He might be right. I forgot about that.

I have a 07 motor in my 04. Bolts right up to the 6 speed. If it bolted up to my 6 speed, it will certainly bolt up to a 5 speed A/T.

The upper block is slightly different but it will work just fine.
You don't have to change anything, no oil pan; nothing.

The bolt pattern for CVT's and 5AT's are different than the 4AT and 6MT's, which further proves that the 5AT and CVT equipped engines/tranny's are a match made in heaven.

Well in my case, the 07 motor bolted up to my 6 speed just fine. Thus i did not know 5 speed and 6 had different bolt patterns.

Why the manifold?

07+ is plastic, but it's the same thing though. Nothing different.

You should of done the tensiones while the engine was out. They're bound to wear out if not replaced.
