Ok people let's put up some numbers on cold air intakes on 2004 max. I'm talkin horsepower gains on a DYNO. A little compare and contrast to see what is the biggest baddest cai in the biz.

it's been done if you want to search and see all of them?

although my impression has been more about sound and look. with some risk of getting wet and loss of some torque. Is it really colder/more than the forced air hitting the front of the car entering between the hood and grille?

It should go.without saying that a compare and.contrast prolly shouldn't be done by the people selling the cold air intakes. This is why I thought orgers would be more objective than sites that sell em. I will agree with you partly that an intake is as good as the tune that follows, and without that is a cosmetic upgrade mostly. But I assume there are a bunch of different bolt ons within the vast org and I'm sure that many are willing to post numbers on their gains.
