06 fan problem?
Just notice this today, was sitting at a stop waiting on a train. train passed and i started moving and looked down and saw that my temp gauge was at about 1/2 an inch away from the "H" on the gauge. I was getting ready to pull over and I noticed it dropping and after about 20 seconds it was down to normal. I got home opened the hood and looked saw no leaks of any sort. But I could smell the engine was hotter than usual. Went back in to turn off the car and sure enough it was about 3/4 way up the gauge instead of 1/2. I turned the car off and then left the key on the on position and watched the gauge climb up to about 7/8 the way up and then got out and looked in the engine bay for about 10 minutes and even with the key on the "on" position and the fans did not turn on at all. any suggestions?

overheating issues
Probably already fixed by now but i just did this on my '07 tried fan relay first as this is only about a $20 part. Didnt fix it-- checked on radiator fan motor -- dealer only part $75 so i went to ebay found an aftermarket fan assembly that included both motors OEM replacement was only $88 when i received it was surprised to see that the radiator motor side had a built in heat shield.. probably due to the proximity of the exhaust manifold. hope this helps
