Tranny Problem 05 Max

I bought my 05 about 6 months ago knowing it had some transmission problems (dealer sold me a warranty at a steal) and I'm realizing the 3yr 36,000 mile warranty is more likely to be a one year warranty due to the amount I drive.

Now the problem is about 10-15mins after i start driving, the car begins to shift very hard at times especially when letting off the gas to take turns and getting back on it coming out of the corner leads to a very hard jerk. also going from reverse to drive has a very noticeable delay when the car warms up.

My question is how long should i let this problem persist, to be honest i haven't taken it in yet as i would love to get a whole new tranny for free. so if anyone else has had this problem and taken it in under warranty i would like to know how it went, what was replaced, if they've had any problems later on? and is there going to be noticeable problems with the tranny when i take it in (worn parts) so they don't try to throw me back out. any help is greatly appreciated
