CVT Jerk

Well i have a 07 SE with 56k+ miles on it. Durring traffic at speeds under 10 mph (before and a little above the first line) when i left off the gas the car jerks hard, sometimes twice while the rpm bounces. Sometimes when crusing and let off around 25mphs it does the same thing, like its on cruse control and keeps the rpm n goes. Did anyone experience this?

You have a 4 or 5spd not a cvt.. Ive never experienced anything like that in my 09 altima coupe. It hurts to say but it's time to take her to the stealership..

Well, since nissan upped the warranty to 100K on the CVT, they should give you a loaner no questions.

I have 5spd.Which had slam shift problems. Now its been overhauled by level ten stage 3 with a torque converter no problems wat so ever same price as changing a tranny. That will result in have the same problem due to cheap dealer parts.6gen are none for this problem mostly 5spd.People have been complaining about this problem since 2005 check around.

he has a CVT. Not a 5 speed auto. His issue is completely different than yours, since the transmission is completely different than yours.

That is all.

I dont think thats a great way to start your beginning on the org. I personally love my 6.5g cvt when it was better.

certain nissan dealerships give loaners and some dont

i love my cvt i have 123k on it and doing great no issues. bought the car 1.5 years ago with 75k on it. i drain out 4 quarts of cvt fluid every 20-25k and add 4 quarts since my nissan tech friend said thats all they do. $20/quart is alot but to not have any issues is worth it for how much i drive and how i drive with having a few mods
