2004 (White) Maxima SE with a beige cloth interior, looks to be in good condition. Drivers nice, and needs very little reconditioning.

Mileage is 110,000, and it comes with free lifetime oil changes. The owner is a friend of a friend. He said if I were to pay cash he could let it go (for me only) for $5,000.

Is this a good deal?

You could get quotes from edmunds.com or kbb.com to see how this lines up.
Sounds like a good deal though.

I'd stay away from all 04-05 autos, unless the trans has already been serviced with revised parts or replaced. Aren't those the years with the tranny that blows up???

You're correct thats them a guy here at my work has an 2005 Maxima fully loaded hit 130,000 miles and his 2nd trans dropped and he by no means beats up his maxima completely stock
