Does the 2008 stereo have aux ports default?
I would like to add subwoofers to my 2008 nissan maxima but would like to find out if i need a new stereo first.

Also is it a pain to take out the stereo? I seen this guide here at Nissanehelp.com

Alright I've got the amp, i see the converters are pretty cheap. Is there a specific brand or one good one >$20 that i should go with?

If the amp will accept a high level input then the high to low converter is not needed. Just splice some rca's in. Fed a jl 500/1 like that until i swapped out the head unit.
