07 Max CVT Fluid Question
My manual says use
NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-2. Do not mix with other fluids.
Using transmission fluid other than
Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-2 will
damage the CVT, which is not covered
by the NISSAN new vehicle limited
According to Valvoline their CVT fluid is good for Nissans and several other vehicles. Has anyone tried the Valvoline fluid?

Yes, as L36 has alluded to, you will be playing with fire if you put anything other than Nissan CVT fluid in your CVT tranny. I would only add that you should have it also done by the dealer techs as well, and keep all documentation. Don't mess with the 120k warranty.
