Newbie need info on purchase
Looking at a 2004 with a Manual transmission Tommorow .I am told the car comes to a stop you have to press the accelertor or it stalls . This only happens when the car is warm. Anybody have any ideas . I am getting the car at a good price. Also anything else to look for on these .
THX Car had 120,000 miles on it

Had a similar stalling issue when my camshaft position sensors were bad. Does the car have any trouble codes that you know of?
General issues:
-Failing timing chain tensioners causing rattle on startup or a whining noise
-ABS problems (usually ABS activation under normal braking conditions). Problem is caused by poor rear wheel hub design. Nissan released TSB, can be fixed on your own. In more extreme cases, ABS actuator needs to be replaced (very costly fix).
-Leaking low pressure AC line
-Leaking high pressure power steering line
-Rusting front floor pan area (check underneath the car if you can)
-Blown fog light bulbs (fog bulbs tend to have a very short lifespan in the 04-06 models)
-Faulty dome light switch that feels loose or has altogether fallen out
I tried to list the things that commonly go bad for us. Can't really think of anything else, but I'm sure there are some things that I left out. Since you are getting a manual, you don't have to worry about the automatic transmission valve body failure, which has been a huge problem for many of us.
Rest of the problems that you may encounter (wheel bearings, motor mounts, etc) are likely just wear and tear items that accompany any car of that age and mileage. Good luck man.

Did you get OEM sensors from the dealership? There was a user who got sensors from autozone and they did not work properly with his car either. He got OEM sensors as 06BlckMax suggested and then his car was back to normal.
The 2500rpm cut can be indicative of a MAF issue, but did you have this problem before or did it pop up after the camshaft sensor replacement?
