some questions for you 6th gen-ers

so i'm looking to buy a 2005 maxima sl, just off the bat i have 3 questions:

1. can the post-facelift headlights fit easily on pre-facelift models? or how extensive and expensive would that be? i would hope to not have to replace headlights, bumper, foglights, AND hood. though i would want to convert the hood to post facelift, i probably wouldnt have the money any time soon.

2. in your opinion, what are the best lowering springs for 6th gen? i had eibachs on both my 1990 max and 06 altima and loved the stance and handling, would most likely go with eibach again unless consensus tells me otherwise

3. another opinion, what is the best short ram intake? had berk on my altima, was beyond impressed with sound and power. back then it was hands down on the forums the preferred intake.

thanks for any feedback

I'm assuming he means 6 and 6.5 gen.

1. The '07-'08 hood, headlights, grille, and bumper are all different from the '04-'06 ones. If you change one, you have to change them all. Some people have only changed portions, but it hasn't and won't ever look good.

2. I've only used the Progress springs, and they rode pretty well. I believe those are used more often than Eibachs.

3. Not sure, I currently have a Fujita CAI.

For intake get an r2c intake. Not a bad review from the maximas. Best intake for the 6th gen max.
