Slam Shift ---> level 10!!!

WELP! its finally happened, my trans has decided to hiccup a bit. I get terrible slam shifts when I shift from reverse and drive, and second to first.

The first time it happened i was all like aaaaaawwww maaaaan. but then realized this is the perfect excuse to buy a level 10 valve body

So who has it and what should I expect?
How much did it cost to have it swapped?
I am not interested in doing it myself, way too busy with work.

Claims boast faster stronger shift speeds. true or false?

Yes I did a search and there is little to no information

Not sure of the 6th gen, but they wanted to charge me 250$, not including fluids. I said, , cracked open the FSM, bought some fluid, and did it on my own.

Not sure if you get overtime, but the OT would be negated if you took it in, whereas you could budget a little time on the side and come out ahead.

$250 is not bad especially if the price includes new fluids.

Uhm, twenty. So you finally become part of the noisy minority who rant against the 6th gen tranny. And now too you don't seem to trust the oem vb. Hey budddy, don't get me wrong; the 6th gen remains a fine car--that little blemish notwithstanding.
