Hello,

I purchased a JVC KD-X50BT media player to swap my dead old sony mp3 player. I noticed there is a wire that has a Steering Wheel Remote label. I had to disable my steering wheel remote since my sony didn't have the wire and I didn't purchase the aftermarket steering wheel remote adapter.
I was wondering if anyone knew if this cable is all I need to re-enable my steering wheel remote. Or would I have to purchase the adapter? The manual doesn't say much on this and I didn't find anything in the forums about this. Sorry if this is a stupid noob question and if the answer is as simple as connecting the 2 wires together.
