Engine Restorer

I have an 07 Max with 57k on it and I used engine restorer earlier. A little bit afterwards the engine started to shake. I have some engine codes that popped up; p0725,p0011,p0021,p0300,p0826,p0615. I changed the oil and the shaking stopped. Do you guys think I should take it to the dealer to get checked or should I just reset the light and wait to see if the light comes back on? P.S I won't use that stuff again lol.

Wow...you've learned a very hard lesson. I hope it does not come back to haunt you.

I hope so as well. It stopped doing all the extra stuff once the oil was changed.

LMFAO I did the same thing not too long ago, I thought it was me and had too much pride to ask the question because people would just sit back and say what a f*ck*ng idiot I was for putting it in my car. It will go away, just flush the oil out and steer clear of that crap. Was it reslone by chance?

I'm not sure the name of the brand it was a silver can. I already flushed the engine and the symptoms stopped. Do you think the engine codes will go away??

Just clear the codes via reset or code-reader.

Maybe, and this is me being ****-retentive, flush it again in about a week, so the oil pump is cleaned out of the additive. Your call, though, in the end.

Yeah I would get flush in a bottle or do the Seafoam trick and clean that crap out. The problem is, that some restorers come with metal flakes that get on the sensors and throw ridiculous codes. You will need to reset the codes. You want to reset the codes. Some codes will cause your engine to run rough and even cause extreme gas consumption. Go to Autozone if you don't have one, have them scan it, and ask if the will clear them for you.

Thanks for the input. I reset the codes and they haven't reappeared. The car is running normal. Thanks for the replies.
