ABS Sensor issue
#2
Check out the TSB for the ABS fix. The problem is usually in the right rear wheel hub. If you feel confident in tackling it yourself, perform the repair and go from there. Here is the link to it:

I replaced the rear hubs completely since the car had about 130k on it, on the original bearings, and I had to change the front bearings anyway. I cleaned the ABS sensors with electric parts cleaner, put it back together, and the ABS was fully functional again. Seeing that you are in Canada, I'm sure you have probably had to deal with lots of snow and salt; this is usually what causes the hub to become problematic. After I did the repair, the ABS worked perfectly for a couple of years up until I recently got rid of the car. Good luck with the repair.

I ALWAYS drive without ABS....Personally if you know how to brake then don't even worry about it. But if you don't really trust yourself then yeah you might as well fix it. That's just my .02

Well so far, I removed the wheel, unscrew the sensor bolts for all four wheels, and wipe them off with a moist rag. The were dingy from road build-up... .test drove, and this is the first time the symptoms didn't show (light breaking and activating the ABS).
Keep you posted on my findings over these few days.......
