I have a 06 maxima, when i start it, it starts to smell like gas inside of the car.. Does that have to do with the fuel pressure regulator?

 

when is the last time you changed your in cabin filter. I know it sounds crazy, but it keeps some of the engine smells out. I have worked on many cars, and they all have that "gas" smell. Some more than others obviously. If it is overwhelming, then you could have a more serious problem.

 

Would the engine smell still enter the car if the cover before the glove compartment is broken and the cabin filter is visible?
