2006 Maxima Motor Mount questions

hi guys i was just informed that i need all new motor mounts on my 2006 Nissan Maxima SE (I had a mechanic diagnose it) i just wanted some advice from actual maxima owners instead of my local nissan dealerships ( lots of problems from both of them). Best brand to buy, Prices, where to buy, easy to install, should i have a mechanic do it, or can i do it. If you guys could please help me out here it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the two main ones are easy to install. I purchased both mine off the net on Ebay. The mounts are not Maxima specific. They are the same ones used on the 3.5 Altima and 3.5 Quest and maybe other vehicles if that helps. There is a thread on how to install them, recommend using the search on the top and seeing if you can find it. If not, let us know someone will help locate it. I recommend considering the Motor Mount Inserts as well. I have them installed and much better than just stock mounts.

I replaced the Mounts next to the Wiper Washer fluid. One bolt you have to approach from the wheel house to break.

The tranny mount is immediately on the frame, remove the left driver front wheel. Bolts are easy to remove, just require some wriggle to remove, and same to nstall.

Must have a heave duty jack to raise engine off mounts - youtube has excellent vids, and for maxima.

go to Nextag or ebay for them. Bought all four mounts for under $170 with lifetime replacements.

Didn't replace the two inner/center mounts (shouul have).

Out of ten (being complicated), I gave both a 4 - if you know how to replace disc brakes.......

You can also try "Remarkable Power xxx ..." in South San Francisco, phone #: 650-452-6009.

They sell them individually or as a set. The set of all four is ~ $185. Their part numbers are:
• A7306EL Front Mount With Solenoid
• A4322EL Rear Mount With Solenoid
• A7304 Right Mount
• A7303 / EM8959 Transmission Mount
