2005 Nissan Maxima SL Jerking

I have a 2005 Nissan Maxima SL that Jerks whenever going from park to reverse and from park to drive. Manual shifting is very smooth though. I have also installed 4 brand new motor mounts and had a transmission flush but that still doesn't seem to solve the problem. Someone please help! Thank you.

Are you parking on a hill? If so, set the parking brake before putting the vehicle into park.

Sounds like motor mounts (I see you replaced 4 of them), unless indeed you are parking on a hill.

Did the jerking happen before you replaced those mounts or did it start after? Why did you replace 4 mounts, were they all bad?

Yes I do park on hill with the parking brake too at my house, and the old motor mounts were all going bad so it was necessary for me to replace them. Even though I did, it still jerks whenever I go from park to reverse, or from park to drive. And that happens whenever I am not on a hill.

Sounds like your valve body is failing. Any trouble codes? Check out the transmission fix thread.

The vias control solenoid valve could be acting up, my nissan had the same problem and that did the trick for me
