Need to accelerate to heat car

Hey guys, i have a 04 maxima se auto with about 94k on it. I have been noticing that i need to accelerate on the gas so get warm air out of my vents. If i just have it idling says the car is warmed up and still blowing out cold air. Is it the T-Stat or maybe i need a flush?

Top off your anti-freeze in overflow and in radiator leave the cap off and squeeze upper and lower radiator hose. There might be a air pocket, I had the same problem and it fixed right away.

air pocket causes it to overheat Hausch. Tstat could be stuck open which isnt allowing your car to heat up. Fix it asap. Driving around on a cold engine is not a good thing

park your car on a hill with the front up. 10 degree incline should be enough. With the engine cool to the touch, open your radiator cap. Fill the radiator with coolant. Make sure your overflow is filled up to the mark. Next with the cap still off, start the car with the heater on high. let the car warm up a bit, the coolant level will drop and allow the air bubble to come out. fill the coolant up again. Make sure you shut the car off and not get coolant all over the place. It is called "burping" your car. This is the same thing the dealer will do. If air doesn't come out, then your thermostat is not opening and will need replaced.
