Help!! I have an 08 Maxima it is stuck in manual mode and wont go back to standard mode had my transmission replaced because of this issue now the Transmission shop is saying that a pin must b broke in the gearshift they want to look at it... Should I let them check it out????

 

hello. I also have an 08 Maxima with a CVT transmission. I know Nissan has a 10yr/120,000 mile warranty on these transmissions. maybe you should look into it, I don't know the backstory on the issue but you could call your dealership about it. its worth a shot.
