under engine shield

first of all i am not sure that under engine shield is the correct way of calling it, what i am trying to describe is the plastic that goes under your car that covers the bottom of the engine and is attached to the front bumper.

Any how thanks to junk on the road (blown peace of tire) the plastic is now in the air, i noticed the front part of it is held by screws so they where able to take the hit, however the other side closer to the engine is hanging in the air, i have put zip ties on them and i have been having to replace them once every month or so.

i have read online that they are like plastic screws (again not sure the proper name) but does anyone have an idea of what they are actually called and the size needed to hold that in place.

thanks before hand.

its called a splash shield/guard. The screws are called push clips/retainer. Size im not sure, just order some on ebay they are cheap for a pack of 20 than the dealer wanting $1.39 each depending on the size.

just go to the dealer and tell them you need retainer clips for under engine splash guard. they will get you the proper hardware.

I had to replace 5, they basically fit into the the splash guard and also into the sub frame of the vehicle. Just place them into the hole and push to lock into place.

The dealer in my area had them in stock for about $1.75 a piece. The other push pins/retainers closer to the front of the vehicle are a different size.
