Just Used VHT Nightshade to black out Tailights.. Thoughts?

Basically spent all day doing this.. Sanded , clear coated and waxed.... What are your thoughts? I thought it turned out great.. Also .. tinting the tail lights are illegal here in GA and prob in most if not all states so i left the inside break light in there to possibly save me from being pulled over. Over all I think it came out great.

Did you put the 07-08 spoiler on top of you 04-06?

I personally think that look is played but it looks like you did a good job spraying everything.

Remove that brake light bulb from the interior so it doesn't light up anymore.

looks good, the swoop of the 6th gen tails make this usually turn out good. do this on a 4th or 5th gen and I'll throw a brick at your car

THIS.

Looks decent, until the brakes are on then it's 2 cyclops brake light fail

But like Chris said, looks like you did a good job on the spray

Night shade the third brake light behind the glass. Do many heavy coats.

I thought about unplugging it.. But like i said I left it ONLY because I'm hoping that will save me from being pulled over By a Cop..

Yeah I did. I didn't remove the 04 lip because It would've left holes in the trunk that would've shown if i put the 07-08 tail on it solo. I took MrJasonLyric's advice and just put it on top of the existing lip and It came out really well.

I don't like it personally but I think it would look better molded as one piece. Also delete that third brake light and put a cover on it. You won't get pulled over as your spoiler is now your third brake light.

great job with the spray

please take off that "V6" symbol. People who appreciate cars know a 3.5 is a v6. Both people who appreciate cars and those who don't will notice it is not only a different size but different font. Your car is really clean and looks great, that v6 doesn't belong, its tacky and clutters up your trunk. keep that clean look you have almost pulled off.

Good luck with cops, mine looked exactly like yours. I got a fix it ticket, looking back I should have just bought the blacked out EZkonsepts in the first place because i ended up buying one to pass the inspection while paying for the ticket and whatever I lost buying the niteshades, sandpaper, wax ect..

Looks good man I did my car as well, mine is black so it really blends with the car. I've been pulled over for speeding and the cop didn't say a word about my tails so unless the cop is bored you shouldn't worry too much about it.
