Timing Chains and Tensioners 2006

My son has 2006 Maxima SE with the dreaded timing chain rattle. I am going to attempt of change the timing chain, tensioner, chain and guides, camshaft chain and guide (not planning on change the camshaft chain tensioners only the plastic guides), waterpump and applicable seals and o-rings. I have several questions:
1. What are the torque requirements for the intake camshaft gear bolt.
2. What the the torque requirements for the exhaust camshaft gear bolt.
3. What are the torque requirements for the timing chain tensioner bolts.
4. What are the torque requirments for the timing chain guides bolts (large guilde on the slack side of the enigine, guide on top of the engine and smaller guide on the tensioned right side.
5. What are the torque requiements for the water pump bolts.
6. How do you keep the engine from rotating when torqueing the camshaft bolts.
7. What are the torque requirements for the harmonic balancer bolt.

You really need a service manual for this repair if you have that many questions before you begin..

I predict there will be many more to come, so you should do yourself a favor and read up. I don't have a link handy, but there are many places on the web that this info can be found.

How did you diagnose that it's the TC?

I just spent the last two or three months completely depressed on accounta I was for sure I had a bad TC tensioner, worn guide(s) or both. The noise was classic TC clatter.

Turns out it wasn't anything to do with the TC. It was the idler pulley. I replaced the pulley, just this past weekend as a matter of fact, and my motor is a quiet as I could ever hope for with 137K miles.

My car is a '99. However, I just did a little research on the '06 and the idler pulley is the same if not identical to that used in the '99 VQ30DE.

Turbobink: Thanks for link. Just the infornation that I needed.
Engine started the rattle about 9 months to a year ago. Would rattle at start up then stop. Not long after the rattle started the AC system had a leak. I do not have the quipment to work on the AC system so I took the car to a mechanic that I has known and used for about thirty years. When I picked the car up, he noted the timing chain rattle. Now the rattle will not stop. Noise does not sound like ilder pully whine but I will check before I tear anything apart.
Again, thanks for the link.
