Right Rear ABS Sensor C1105

Anyone familiar with Right Rear ABS Sensor C1105?

I know thee is a service bulletin but I didn't undersand the need for that notch or what the plastic hub was for.

My mechanic replaced the Rear Right ABS Sensor but the ABS still does not function - gets C1105.

Does that mean it is the part was bad or could be? Should I try cleaning behind the sensor or wash it out (i.e. pull out the sensor and spray in that hole). Is there a way we can determine if it is the sensor or something else?

Thanks. Did you do the whole thing on the service advisory or just changed the sensor. So far, I have only changed the sensor.

hey guys, I have a similiar problem. I changed my abs actuator because my rear left abs sensor ate it up and and after that i replaced the abs sensor with a oem one and the brake light is still on...it's driving me crazy. I don't know what to do next.

I'm still stuck on this. Car is back in the shop. Mechanic thinks it is the wire going to the sensor, maybe a problem under the seat.

Does anyone know if disconecting the entire line, i.e. under the hood, I think that is the harness, if that would work? Or what would happen? The thing is if I am sliding on ice, I don't see how only reading 3 tires (instead of all 4) would be an issue.

I had the Brake Light come on and went through the system and found nothing. I cleaned all the abs sensors and the light went off. The person who had the car before me put some cheap pads on which causes ALOT of brake dust. I think that was the problem on why they all got so dirty. From what I have gathered if the abs system is only reading 3 wheels it will throw a Brake light or ABS light. hope this helps
