a good spring rate recommendation

Hey all. I've finally got my max back on the road after replacing the transmission. In all honesty, I would rather do that again than change the one on my grand am. It was pretty simple. It did take me a while though because I was working on it in an unheated shop so I took a lot of breaks to warm up. My new issue is now though, I have the infamous rear end sag. Instead of going oem on the springs I decided to go ahead and bring her down all four corners. My question though is about spring rate. I understand it to some degree of how many pounds of force it takes to compress it one inch. But I see a lot of spring rates lower in the front and almost double in the rear. Wouldn't I want the front spring rate higher in the front than the rear? Would my rear just bounce like crazy or am I missing something here. Also, I do need some spring recommendations as far as ride quality. I want it just slightly more aggressive and to sit lower. If I was the only person driving it I would've just bought some coilovers but I'm not. Dang it. Anyways thanks in advance.

After thinking through the whole spring rate thing, is it possible that with a higher spring rate in the rear its trying to avoid front to back roll during acceleration?

Stock ma be fine for most, but I need just a bit of aggression when I'm diving into corners. I'vebeen given the OK by my fiance, but i don't want a ridiculous amount of bounce ya know? When ihit corners right now Iit seems like Maxine wants to tail whip out from under me. I know they're not a sports car, but it doesn't mean i have to live with it. She gets real iffy around corners. I've checked all ball joint points and they are good. Just need something a little stiffer on the spring

Have you thought about rear sway bar "progressive brand" and a strut tower brace for the front "STILLEN BAR". with that it will handle better on sharpe turns.
