Releasing/pressing throttle causes car to jerk abrutly

2008 maxima SE
80k miles
Mods: aftermarket intake and recent installation of 3 piece intake spacer kit. With this I followed procedures to reset computer.

This became more noticeable on my current 900 mile vacation trip. I installed the spacers the day before.

Issue: while in motion, letting off throttle causes car to abruptly slow down with an initial jerk. It's extremely annoying especially when your passengers get jerked forward and backward. Proceed with applying slight throttle and it jerks forward, then is smooth until you let off throttle.

Any ideas?

- no check engine codes
- fuel economy great
- followed steps to reset computer and idle
- idle in park is around 800rpm and smooth

I also noticed that going downhill the car seems to maintain speed rather than requiring braking.
