Anniversary edition uses different fog lights?

I bought a pair of fog lights off amazon and the connection isnt the same as the one in my car. Also they dont quite fit in the housing perfectly. Does the 20th AE use different fog lights than the rest?

I doubt that. They should be the same.

Should be the same. I guess it's just that aftermarket parts aren't always a perfect fit or to spec.
