Passenger side window rolling down on its own
Passenger side window rolling down on its own
Just bought a 2007 Maxima. Here is the exact symptoms:
I pull up to where I'm going. I roll both the driver and passenger door windows up. They are the 1 click automatic windows. Driver door window stays up. When the Passenger door window goes all the way up, and then automatically rolls itself back down about 10 inches. Roll the window back up, and it does the same thing, over and over again. It only stays up when i manually touch it like 10 times to roll it up.
Is this some kind of safety feature so you don't lock your keys in the car? Or is it some kind of setting or window lock that I am over looking?

The window motor might have been replaced and they didn't do the window reset procedure. It's an easy fix you just have to take the door panel off in order to get to the reset button on the motor. The instructions are around here somewhere on the forum
