Highbeam/Lowbeam Issue

Hello, I have an issue in which my HID lamp on the driver's side will turn on only sometimes for a few seconds and then shut off, if it turns on at all. The headlight assembly appears to have condensation inside, I'm thinking the ballast my be shorting out. I checked the connection to the bulb and fuse and they seem to be fine.
Will replacing the ballast and sealing the headlamp fix this issue? Or should i buy a new headlamp?

Sounds like the bulbs are on its last leg...I would replace both bulbs..not cheap at dealer but try buying online.

You will have to remove bumper to get to both bulbls..not hard...

Hola on your findings

Thanks for the reply. I will change them out tomorrow and see if that works, it's such a pain just to get at the bulbs on a Maxima. I'm going to use two new bulbs from my old Acura Integra (9006 GE Nighthawk ) they were just installed weeks before i blew the CV joint on the driver's side, and now it's just sitting.. I've been told they are the same size as the 9012 bulb, so I hope this will work! If not I will just get new H2S Xenon's online.
