Radiator Replacement 2005
My son has 2005 Maxima with leaking radiator.
What are the correct steps to remove/replace the radiator.
I assume that you must remove the fans but I can not remove the fans because of the battery case. Do you have to remove the battery support to remove the fans then the radiator?
If not can you walk me thru the correct steps.
Thanks

I did it and it's it rather easy. This is the model before but pretty close. Take off the rock guard on the bottom off. Drain coolant take off hoses etc. Tranny lines.

Follow up:
I had to remove the battery and case in order to remove the fan. Five bolts in the case. All came easily. With the battery removed and case loose, just flipped the fan up and out of the way. Did not have to disconnect the electrical connections. Very easy job once I remove the battery and case.
Job started with my son complaining that the car was noisy at low and high speeds. Removed and replaced the left front bearing. This corrected most of the noise but I still had some noise from the rear. Jacked up the vehicle and at first though the lug nuts were loose. That was how bad the bearing/hub was. I then checked the left rear and it also was bad. With three of the bearing/hubs being bad (left front and right rear were very bad) I decided to also replace the right front.
Vehicle now has new bearing on all four corner and new radiator.
