Help with 2004 se clutch remove/install

Hi everyone new to the forum and off the bat Im gonna be replacing my clutch this weekend. Tried googling for info but couldnt get the answers that Im looking for. I wanted to know if I need to lossen the engine mounts to remove the bell housing and any other info that could help. I have never replaced a clutch but my friends helping have but more info I can get the better. Thanks in advanced

I found the FSM a little while before you posted awsome to bad I didnt jump on the forum earlier I paid a year for the chilton diy which was not worth it. I really was looking for input from the guys who have done it especially with the engine mount and extra removals to make the bell housing easier to remove.

So we got the clutch in but shooting the p0335 code now do i need to reset ecu?

You didn't install the crank sensor on the bottom between the motor and tranny.

I did reinstall and everythings running fine except for the ses light, my friend drove it for 200 miles yesterday and its good.

THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!! I’ve been stuck trying to remove my MT Bell housing in my 04 for 2 days because of the tight space. Time to read lol

Hey there! I was wondering what steps you took as far as getting the bellhousing off. Did you have to drop the subframe?
