04 se smoking

Whats up fellow maxima owners. I picked up a 04 maxima se 6mt that had a engine swaped into it for cheap. So far the car has been an overall nightmare. It needed both oxygen sensor before the pre cats, I changed those, put new NGK iridum plugs, new pcv valve, cleaned out the intake manifold, seafoamed the car (gas, oil, intake). fresh oil change. the car needs a new intake valve timing solenoid and a vias solenoid. The car is not registered yet would like to short out all the problems first. The car starts up and runs fine except that it looks like its crop dusting. The car smokes pretty bad at start up and eventually goes away until you rev it up. The car runs strong but just smokes. Please point me in the right direction to proceed with fixing this because I love the car.

Any codes? Sounds like the Air fuel ratio sensor(s) are bad.

This might sound crazy but my 07 did the same thing. I brought it back to the dealer and they had to change the rear valve cover

The only codes that are showing up are p1111 intake valve timing controlsolenoid bank 1 and p1800 vias control solenoid valve. Maybe I should changed out the 2 down stream oxygen sensors. There appear to be no oil leaks and the smoke is coming out the tail pipes.

I'm telling you it the valve cover. There are seals inside that are for the spark plug tubes.

Thanks, Im gonna do valve cover gaskets on both banks and also run a catch can to start with. It's hard to tell how the car is acting because I did't register it yet also. Thanks
