6th Gen. Struts - Any opinion on KYB Strut Plus?

I am in the market for front struts. Just looking to replace with OEM type ride, don't need lowering or sportier ride for my wife, just good struts that I will be replacing myself. I am considering the Gabriel Quick Struts or the KYB Strut Plus. Jeg's has them the cheapest at $157.57 (at least from what I could find.
Part numbers are:
SR4163 - Right Front
SR4164 - Left Front

Has anyone used the KYB Strut Plus units and if so, what is your opinion?

Thanks in advance!!

Yesterday, I installed KYB Excel-G Struts. So far, between highway and city driving, they seem a little bit stiffer than OEM. Overall, the car rides pretty smooth.

If you live where all the roads are smooth as silk kyb's are fine. Otherwise they will beat the hell out of you. I took mine off last year and put some Monroe's back on and trashed the kyb's.

I had Monroe's on for about a year. They were a mushy to me. It sounded like my car was bottoming out.

I think jasoneon's experience is related to the fact that his was lowered. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I had the KYB GR2s on with stock springs for a couple of months then changed out the springs for a set of tein springs. The shocks were still pretty darn abusive with the factory springs. It's a love hate relationship though. With the KYBs I could throw the maxima into turns way faster than should be possible. The turn in was instant! After 2 or 3 years though I just couldn't take feeling like I was being beat up just from driving the car and took them off.

Has anyone tried sensen on their 6th gen? A few of the 4th geners have nothing but good reviews and the price is tempting but would like to hear a 6th review before pulling the trigger.
