Changing wipers on my 07 Max

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and so far I love how much this place has to offer!

I'm trying to switch out new wipers, and I was able to switch out the passenger side, no problem. (watched videos how to do them etc) but on the driver side, I'm having some problems with pressing down the plastic level to release the wiper. I'm worried that I may have pressed too hard and broke it off..any suggestions on how to remove the old wiper? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Just move the wiper blade perpendicular to the wiper arm and pull down on the blade. You may need to pull hard. Don't worry about breaking the wiper arm; it is sturdy metal. If the plastic clip on the blade brakes, no sweat, you are going to throw it away anyway. My passenger side blade seems harder to change than the drivers side as well.
