Horn Problems - 6th Generation (2007)
Hopefully someone can help me! The horn (when pressed on the steering wheel) doesn't work, it did work intermittently for the past few months but nothing anymore. When I set the alarm, the horn works fine but nothing when I try pressing it on the steering wheel. The car won't pass the freakin emissions testing here in TX, not to mention the safety issues...I'm sure it's the fuse since it works when using the fob key...Any ideas??

Ok, thank you for the info. I seen a couple posts just now about the spiral cables. Going to do a little bit more testing on the wheel to see what's all working? Is this a relatively easy repair &/or something that I can do without getting raked going to the dealership? Thanks again!

There's not an emission problem. I don't see an SES light come on. Checking for a functional horn is just a part of the inspection they do & they won't pass the car if it's not working. I did check yesterday after reading thru a couple posts. The horn will only work when I turn the wheel all the way to the right or all the way to the left.

Hello! I don't recall off the top of my head but I do know there's 2 different part numbers, one for the heated steering wheel and one without. The one that I needed was for the heated steering wheel (listed below).
