Car warm up takes time

Car warm up takes time

Hi experts,
I recently done heater core flush and started to noticed that my car takes time to warm up. Thermostats was never removed .
Any idea what's causing this.

Is the gauge on the dash slow to move to the normal operating temperature position or are you saying this based on how warm the air is?

If the gauge is slow to move, then you are probably right about the thermostat being the problem.

yes ,
Gauge does take time to move.
how can this be fixedf ?
it was working fine before heater core flush.
do i have to buy a new thermostat ?

Yes, the thermostat needs to be replaced. It would be best to get one from Nissan, the ones from auto parts stores tend to be hit or miss for working properly.

Why did it happen after after you worked on the heater core? Just unfortunate timing I guess.

I did not work by my self. My mechanic done this for me.. Looks like bad luck....
