Cooling fan

Hi my name is Luis
An I own nissan maxims 05
An I notice that my cooling fan is not turning it only turns went
I turn on the ac besides that it dozen
Can someone help find the problem

If the cooling fans do not run, the car will over heat. Does your car over heat?

The cooling fans do not run all the time when the air conditioning is off.

Yes let car sit and idle without AC on and see if it kicks on when car reaches hot temp. If not could be coolant sensor.

You did not answer the question - Does the engine overheat?

To locate the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS), follow the upper radiator hose to where it attaches to the engine. 2 or 3 inches after that is the ECTS.

My car got over heat when the engine is running and the car is not moving for a while. fan on passenger side is not running.
Does anyone know how to diagnose this problem?

There are two (2) each relays for the cooling fans. The relays should be the same number. Reverse the relays and see if the fan on the passenger sides works. If you have the same condition as before then the fan motor is bad. If the passenger side works and other does not then the relay if bad.
