2004 Maxima Crankshaft Sensor Location

I've recently ran into a few issues with my Maxima, which, its got 200k miles on it, so its not surprising to see some things pop up. Yesterday I replaced both of my camshaft position sensors and when I went to drive it today, the error code for the crankshaft sensor came on. I went ahead and bought the sensor, but I cannot find where it's located on the car. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have manual, 4 speed auto or 5 speed auto. Manual and 4 speed location is different than the 5 speed. Also, believe that they use different sensors.

I have the 5 speed auto. From all the research I've gathered, it looks like it's near the oil filter on the passenger side. Is this correct? I'll be working on it later today.

My son no longer own's his Maxima but if I remember correctly the sensor had the cover over it and it was located close to the starter.

It was actually right on the bottom of the motor once you remove the cover. I just didn't think that was it because both, Nissan and Car Quest gave me the wrong part even using my vin to look up the part. It's all fixed now!
