Help! Crank No Start....Tried all I can. Now What?

Hello. I am new to the forum. I recently purchased an 06 Auto Maxima. I bought the car as a crank no start with a bad battery. So far I have replaced the battery and checked all of the fuses. After reading about the cam sensor failures I proceeded to replace both Bank 1 and 2 Camshaft sensors. I noticed someone previously broke both of the clips for both sensors as well. I replaced both clips with full pigtails (also soldered them on). Still nothing. I unplug the bank 1 sensor and the car fires up and drives ( Just stuck in limp mode, will not come out of 5th gear ). I drove the car around for an hour to see what codes it would continue to throw. It threw one code for the bank 1 cam sensor. I replaced it again with an OEM sensor and still nothing. I also replaced the crankshaft position sensor on the bottom as well. Still nothing. I threw in the towel and had it towed to a well respected electrical automotive shop. They said nothing is wrong electrical wise. So now im stuck with my hands in the air. Can anyone shed some light on my situation. Thanks!

Are there any codes at the moment? Are you using an original key? I believe the original key has a security sensor in it.

Code P0340, is bank one camshaft sensor. You noted that you installed new pigtails and when you disconnect the sensor the vehicle will start but will not start with the sensor connected. Could you have reversed the wires when you installed the new pigtails?

That was my first thought after replacing them. I checked them all again and they are wired correctly.
