Hello. I was wondering if you could give me some help. I bought an 05 maxima with 158000 miles. It had the shifting problem. Long story short the vb in the car is a vbx body and the transgo kit i bought won't work on It so I bought a vb from the junk yard on ebay. Vb came in with broke solenoid. Still tried with my old solenoid. Reverse sucked like a manual car with a burned out clutch. It wouldn't hardly go in reverse. Driving sucked. So I got another vb. Decided to not install kit. Slapped vb in and still same problem with reverse. Trying to go up any bump or hill is impossible. Just sits there and revs. Driving was ok except for bang from 2-1 when coming to a stop and 3-4 cut loose. What could be causing the reverse to act stupid. I'm considering installing the kit to r get rid of the downshift bang but I'm worries about the reverse.
