2006 Nissan Maxima

My apologies if there is a similar post as this is my first time. My daughter has a 2006 Maxima, auto, with 138k. She has been experiencing some drivability issues. What occurs, is the car almost seems to go into a "limp mode" and will go about 10-15mph, pressing on the gas pedal does not change rpm or speed, (never kills, and ultimately comes back after 10-20 seconds or shut off and restart). The code that came up was P1800, which is the intake solenoid. The intake solenoid was replaced, however the problem continues. The car has been taken to 2 reputable shops in our area, and neither can find the problem. One shop had the car act up, but didn't know how to fix it. I appreciated their honesty, but would like help in this matter. For some reason, it seems to do it more frequently or even exclusively when turning from a standstill such as at a stoplight. I am planning on checking all wiring harnesses, vacuum lines, and power actuator functionality. Anyone with any further information would be extremely wonderful, Thanks in advance, dad and daughter.

This can always be hard to trouble shoot. Typically a vacuum leak will cause a continuous problem and more often then not, the MAF or MAP is what cause the problems that you are referring to typically from my experience.
It can be a fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors...see where I am getting at here?
With the MAF if you know how it works or not, when you press the pedal and air is sucked into the motor the amount of air (O2) is read from the MAF then computed to the ECM to then tell the control the spray on the injectors (skipped other steps here).. When you press the pedal and a specific range of voltage isn't registered nothing will happen and sometimes you will get a jerking coughing sound, the limp your talking about.. and sometimes black smoke from tail pipe from to much gas being dumped. Or not enough gas.
So if you motor is getting more Air than gas you will have a problem, and that goes for the other way around.

Things you can try:

Good luck and keep us posted if you fix the problem so other people can benefit from this.

A failing camshaft sensor is also a possibility.
