Sounds like oil pressure to timing chain issue. Start scouring for a Nissan tech that does jobs on the side and has access to getting OEM parts on the cheaper side. It books out on the expensive side at the dealer, but a guy that's quick, efficient and has the right tools can have it done in a short afternoon. Craigslist sometimes has Nissan techs doing this sort of thing at a third of the cost.
