Lit up like a Christmas tree, every light, limp mode, high idle, OBD2 not connecting

The dash in my 2005 Maxima is lit up like a Christmas tree, every light is on, TCS, slip, SES, Brake, everything. The car is also in limp mode and has a high idle, sometimes sporadic idle. I can't pull any codes because for some reason the OBD2 is not connecting.

I replaced the transmission control unit and that improved matters a bit, prior to that the SES light wasn't working and the car wouldn't accept the throttle reset procedure.

I have another brake pump module I plan on installing because it seems to have no brakes, or at least the pump isn't doing anything. I also plan on replacing the camshaft position sensors as I've seen a few peps saying their car did similar things due to the cam sensor going out.

Anyone experienced anything like this or have any suggestions? I'm really concerned that i can't connect to the OBD2, what can cause that? If the car starts and drives it's probably not a bad ECU right?

Have you found the cause of this? I would think that one of the main fuses has blown. This would leave the sensors without power and the ECU is not getting any feedback from them and lighting up the lights. I'm thinking 60 amp fuse C. If you have brake lights, then I'm wrong.

I took it to the Nissan dealership, they say the ECU is bad, they ordered a used one and are going to re-program it. I decided to let the dealership do it because they guarantee their work and if they misidentify the problem then I'm not paying for it

Dealership wants $550 for the ECU and tune, much less than I expected, that's why I let them go for it.

My car is doing the exact same thing. Except now it won't start. I have read many things about coins falling behind radio & causing some short making all the lights light up. Something about a a/c condenser unit. So I guess my bf, will take the dash apart & see if that's causing my problems. You should try it too, be less expensive than the dealership, you think?
Also I got a code of P1273 & reading about that, it can also cause the lights to come on. Let me know if either one helps your problem.

I think the obd2 has something to do with the oxygen sensor

So coins can certainly fall into the climate control module and short it out. Mine did that. I fixed that but that's not the cause of all the other problems. Still waiting on the dealership to finish installing and programing the new ecu. I'll keep you guys posted.

The OBD2 is the plug under the dash that allows you to read your computer. Nothing to do with the O2 sensor.... I hope you're joking. Unless you're referring to getting an O2 sensor code from reading the obd2. In which case I can't connect to the obd2 to get any codes, so no clue about O2 sensor problems.
