So ive been having electric problems with my "08" Maxima for a while beginning with my dome lights, trunk lights, glove box lights going out about a year ago. My drivers seat has been stalling and steering wheel wont adjust, I can smell a smoke smell coming from under the seat then it goes out. it comes back after a lil while of me sitting in the seat. So yesterday I took the electronic parts 10A FUSE out by accident. I thought id put it back in good but then the car wouldn't move out of park. I put it back in and it worked, so then when I got off last night I get out to the car and it will not start. all of the dash lights, headlights, radio, and windows are working fine but the car will not turn over. I tried getting a jump but that didn't help. Im not understanding what the hell is going on here. Is this a quick fix or did I really screw something up?

 

My first instinct would be to find someone with a code reader that you could borrow and see if the computer will tell you anything. Maybe someone else has better information for you, but thought I'd throw that out there.
